Growing up in large country vicarages and sent to boarding school mine was an eventful childhood. Not least were stormy holidays in Cornwall and unexpected family arrivals.
College days were all over the place, of my own making, but a European tour and driving overland from India’s Tamil Nadu to UK opened my eyes to new worlds. Here is a life alternating daily between teaching all ages while growing my own new school, and ministering as vicar in parishes from London to Liverpool. Learning by mistakes at every step took me to arranging holidays, whether camping, at home or abroad and culminating in several Bavarian Passion Plays.
Later chapters centre on the UK West Country as vicar in a church of the Arts and Crafts movement, managing multi parishes and concluding in Wiltshire during the Covid pandemic.
