Originally belonging to the Prior of St Swithin of Winchester, Westwood Manor was built by Thomas Culverhouse in 1480 and originally let to tenant farmers, the house was altered over three centuries. Westwood has late Gothic and Jacobean windows, decorative plasterwork, and important musical instruments including a 16th century harpsichord, as well as fine period furniture, and seventeenth and eighteenth century tapestries. There is a relatively modern topiary garden. A visit to Westwood Manor is easily combined with the renowned Iford Manor Garden, which is close by. Disabled Access
