White Sheet Lane/Hill, Stourhead, Wiltshire

It's probably a little unusual to include a lane in a compendium of places to visit but the location is most of the lane that runs from near Kingston Deveril to the road between Maiden Bradley and Stourton. The steep hillside, with panoramic views into the valley below, is popular with walkers, paragliders, and model airplane flyers. The lane itself is largely a rough byeway, popular with mountainbikers and the occasional scramble bike rider. The land forms part of the Stourhead Estate and they suggest this walk.

Good views from the lane access to the field by kissing gate then rough ground not suitable for wheelchairs.
