Potterne, Wiltshire
Potterne, Wiltshire, is a small village on the A360 which, probably undeservedly, might not be much noticed when driving through except for the fine Grade I Listed timber framed Porch House, which was built in 1480. Porch House was probably built for the Bishops of Salisbury, but in the 18th Century was a pub, then divided into three cottages.
