⭐⭐⭐
Castle Combe, Wiltshire

There is very little to Castle Combe, so you may be disappointed, but what there is is very handsome, and a visit to the Manor House Hotel, or pub, for lunch extends the pleasure. Of course it's interesting for fans of the original 'Doctor Dolittle' film to see the area by the bridge, which was imaginatevely turned into a port; the main street where the boy lost his horse to the army in the First World War film 'War Horse'; and the bridge, ridden over in 'Wolfman', and more. The Manor House hotel in Castle Combe is very dog friendly.
